I am a high school Science teacher born and raised in New Zealand and now working in the United Kingdom, teaching physics from Y9 (3rd Form) to Y13 (7th form/upper 6th). So that is the level that most of the this site is aimed at.

Superhero Science started off as a wall display for my Science department at the high school I worked in. I shared the display online for other teachers on TES and it has been extremely popular to the point where non-teaching friends have started asking for a copy. So I thought I'd turn it into a webpage for all to enjoy.

I don't claim to be an expert on all things comic (although I do enjoy a comic), so I try to stay away from to much comic lore and get any infomation I need from Marvel and DC wiki's . My main idea is simply to engage students and now anyone with a little bit of Science. It is meant to be a bit of fun so don't take it too seriously and enjoy!

I am working on a series of supervillians and some more heroes, I do take requests from students, so it would be only fair to do the same for the www.
